I was always going to be a writer, but the career curve towards fitness instructing came as a bit of a surprise. Which made the accidental stumble into ad hoc modelling a complete shock – to everyone involved. I mean it sometimes involved wearing dresses and everything – although assorted fight kit somehow seems to be more the trend.
